Antonio
Argueta
- is a 14
year old boy
from the Remar
Orphanage in
El Salvador.
When Antonio was
a baby his lips
were burned
leaving him with
no lower lip and
a heavily scared
upper lip.
Antonio arrived
in the
United States in
February 2008
with the
cooperative
efforts of FACE,
Surfer's on a
Mission, and
Globe
International.
He is here to
begin a series
of 4 surgeries
at the Garcia
Institute of
Plastic Surgery.
During his
time here
Antonio has been
attending school
and now speaks
English very
well.
Antonio has one
surgery left and
then will be
returning to his
home in El
Salvador.
